The Shure ULXD4 (ULX-D4) is a single-channel, half-rack digital wireless receiver for ULX-D systems, built for corporate, education and performance installs. It delivers 24-bit / 48 kHz audio with more than 120 dB dynamic range at the XLR output, AES-256 encryption and Ethernet networking, and tunes up to 64 MHz depending on the band. This listing offers the G50, H50, J50A, V50 and X52 band versions.
Predictive switching diversity keeps the signal steady, intelligent scanning finds the cleanest frequencies and sends them to transmitters over IR sync, and interference alerts show on both the receiver and Wireless Workbench 6. High Density mode lets significantly more ULX-D channels run at once in applications up to 30 meters (about 98 feet). Pair it with ULX-D transmitters in the same band.

Which transmitters work with the ULXD4?
ULX-D transmitters in the same frequency band, such as the ULXD2 handheld or ULXD1 bodypack. For the H50 version, the ULXD2/B58-H50 handheld is a direct match. See also the ULXD2/SM58 and the ULXD1 bodypack; always match the band.
Can I rack-mount the ULXD4?
Yes. It is a half-rack unit and the rack hardware is included. The 1/2-wave antennas are remoteable, so they can be moved off the rear panel.
How much output gain can I add?
Up to 60 dB of adjustment from the front-panel buttons, from -18 to +42 dB in 1 dB steps, plus a mute setting. The XLR output switches between mic and line level.
Can I control several ULXD4 receivers from one computer?
Yes. Connect them over Ethernet and manage them in Wireless Workbench 6, or integrate them with AMX or Crestron control systems.
ULXD4 or ULXD4D or ULXD4Q?
The ULXD4 handles 1 channel with analog outputs. The ULXD4D handles 2 channels and the ULXD4Q handles 4, and both add a Dante digital output rated at 130 dB dynamic range against more than 120 dB at the ULXD4's XLR output. Choose the ULXD4 for a single microphone or to add one channel to an existing system.
